Milton Perry Obituary

Milton P. Perry, age 91, of 31 Dudley Hill Road, died Thusday, September 27, 2007, at UMASS Memorial Healthcare-University Campus in Worcester.

He leaves his wife of 67 years, Esther (Deary) Perry; four sons, David Perry of Cullman, Alabama, Brian Perry of Webster, James Perry of Dudley and Joel Perry of Woodstock, CT; 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandcildren, several nieces and nephews.

He was born in Marysville, Canada, son of the late Manuel and Margaret (Perry) Perry and lived in Dudley for 61 years, prior to that, he lived in Webster. He was a 1933 graduate of New Market High School in New Hampshire and a 1954 graduate of Worcester Junior College where he received his associates in accounting. He was a WWII Navy Veteran. He was a well known Public Accountant in the community for many years. He was past President and 50 year member of the Webster Dudley Rotary, also the Chamber of Commerce and was a founding director of the Webster-Dudley United Way. He was the first treasurer of the Webster-Dudley Boys Club, served on the Board of Directors at Hubbard Regional Hospital and served as Clerk, was a member of the Board of Directors of Webster Co-op Bank, Webster Five Cent Savings Bank and on their audit committee. He was a member of the Webster Sailing Assoc. and Webster-Dudley Golf Club.

Calling hours are private, for the family. The Funeral will be held Monday with a Mass at 10 AM in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Dudley, burial in Calvary Cemetery, Dudley. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Webster Dudley Boys and Girls Club, 3 Boys Club St, Dudley or the Webster Dudley United Way.

Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster is directing arrangements.
