Jamie Liguz Obituary
She leaves her parents, Michael and Dianne (Plasse) Liguz of Webster; her twin sister, Jill Liguz-Mello and her husband Scott of Putnam, CT; several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was born in Putnam and lived all her life in Webster. She graduated from Bartlett High school in 1998. Jamie worked almost ten years as a department manager at the Walmart in Oxford. She enjoyed camping and bowling in her weekly league at Mohegan Lanes. She was an enthusiast fan of NASCAR.
A private funeral mass for her family will be Wed., Oct. 3 at 10 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 16 East Main St. Burial will be private in Sacred Heart Cemetery Webster. There are no calling hours. Please omit flowers. Donations in her memory to Why Me Inc., 1152 Pleasant St., Worcester, Ma. 01602. Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave., Dudley is directing arrangements.

Al and I were deeply saddened to learn of your loss. We always looked forward to Mike and Jamie's visit and her tales of last year's camping adventures. Jamie was a joy! No parent should ever have to suffer the loss of a child but Jamie would want you to cherish and celebrate the years she shared with those she loved.

I was very saddened to learn of Jamie's passing. I have fond memories of her in my classes from Park Avenue Elementary to Bartlett. I can only remember her smiling.

After moving from Webster when I was 12 I lost contact with Jamie, but I always considered her a very dear friend. Memories of Webster Girls Softball, DWC Indians Cheerleading, and 6th grade dances at Webster Middle School will always remain in my heart.
