John Ghidinelli Obituary

John Ghidinelli, 85, of 47 East St., passed away Friday, in West Brookfield. He was the husband of the late Ruth (Roy) Ghidinelli, to whom he was married for 55 years, when she passed away in 1996.

He leaves his children and their spouses, John and Danja Ghidinelli of Ware, Marlene and Archie Routhier of Gilbertville, and Mary Ellen and John Orzech of Ware; his sisters, Rose Schwarz, Jennie Rabideau and Alda Muzio all of Stafford Springs, CT; his companion, Madeleine Cebula of Ware, as well as 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brothers, Thomas and Aldo.

He was born in Salisbury, CT, son of John and Santina Ghidinelli and had lived in Ware for 66 years. He worked as a machine repairman for Hamilton Standard Co.

He was a communicant of All Saints and Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Churches. He was a member of the Ware Golden Agers and Senior Center.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, October 13th at 10 a.m. in All Saints Church, North St. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Quaboag on the Common, 47 East Main St., West Brookfield, MA 01585.

To the Ghidinelli family,I worked with your dad and played cards at lunch time with him every day you truly lost a great man,entertaing one at that,I also lost my dad almost a year ago and he new your dad for many years.My thoughts and prayers are with you wish i could be there but i live in palm coast florida.Again my thoughts and prayers are with you.Sincerly Ron Rickson
