Gerard Audette Obituary

Gerard A. "Jerry" Audette, 65, of Leicester and formerly of Worcester, died on Tuesday, October 16 in his home after an illness.

Mr. Audette is survived by his wife of 46 years, Susan E. (Harris) Audette; a son, David N. Audette of Dudley; two daughters: Michele A. Dominy and her husband Allen of Cherry Valley and Christine M. Audette of Oxford; a brother, Normand Audette of Millbury; two sisters: Annette Bertrand and Pauline Gaudet, both of Worcester; six grandchildren: Tabitha, David, Katelyn, Matthew, Nicole and Trisha and several nephews and nieces. Mr. Audette was born in Worcester, son of Frederick and Irene (Thibeault) Audette and is predeceased by a brother, Frederick Audette and three sisters: Yvonne Campbell, Theresa O'Donnell and Lillian Bennett.

Jerry was a co-owner of Audette's Auto Body in Worcester for over 40 years. Before owning Audette's Auto Body, he worked for Speedway Auto Body and DeBoise Auto Body.

Mr. Audette was a member of CMARA and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family as well as working around the house. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, October 20 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond St., Worcester with a Mass at 10 AM in Holy Name of Jesus Church, 53 Illinois St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. A calling hour will be held on Friday, October 19 from 6 to 7 p.m in the funeral home. Memorial contributions in Mr. Audette's name may be made to the VNA Hospice, 120 Thomas Street, Worcester, MA 01608.
