Roy Levato Obituary

Roy V. Levato, Jr., 35, of Charlton, passed away Monday, October 15, 2007. He leaves his loving wife, Julie (Mayo) Levato; two beautiful daughters, Lauren Diane Levato and Danielle Marie Levato; his father, Roy V. Levato, Sr. of Upton; three sisters, Diane Waldman of Marlborough, New Jersey, Donna Jinicek of Glenhead, New York, and Denise Gianarkis of Annandale, New Jersey ; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Roy was born in Queens, New York, son of the late Janet (Faessler) Levato. Roy graduated from Manhassett High School on Long Island, and received an Associates Degree from Nassau Community College.

Roy worked along side his father in their family business, YD Liquors on Grafton Street in Worcester, as the chief operating officer.

A memorial service for Roy will be held Saturday, October 20, at 2 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. A calling hour will be held from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Lauren and Danielle Levato Trust Fund in care of Flagship Bank and Trust, 491 Shrewsbury Street, Worcester, MA 01604.
