Edward Lavin Obituary

Edward H. Lavin, 79, of Warren PASSED AWAY Thursday, October 18. He leaves his wife of 36 years, Belle R. (Aiken) Lavin; three children, Robin LeBlanc of Worcester, Tracy Beauregard and her husband John of Maine and Edward J. Lavin and his wife Bobby Ann of Millbury; four step-children, Brenda Johnson and her husband James of Sanford, NC, Joseph Levesque, Jr. and his wife Sara of Northboro, Louis Levesque and his wife Jennifer of N. Grafton and Randy Levesque of Worcester; three brothers, Donald P. Lavin and his wife Jennette of Millbury, Paul Lavin and his wife Ruth of North Carolina and Francis T. Lavin of Missouri; two sisters, Mary Bartlett of N. Brookfield and Elizabeth Lavin of Worcester; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A brother, John and a sister, Joan Lepinski predeceased him.

He was born in N. Oxford the son of John C. and Cora M. (Paul) Lavin. He was a Korean War veteran serving with the Army and the Air Force. Ed worked as a group leader for Beldon Wire & Cable Company before retiring. He was the former Vice President of the AFL-CIO and the Steel Worker's Union at Beldon Wire & Cable Co. He was an avid candlepin bowler.

Visiting hours will be Sunday, October 21 from 2:00 until 4:00 PM at CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
