John Blake Obituary

John B. Blake, 64, of Hudson, died Friday, Sept 28, 2007, at Marlboro Hospital. He was husband of Anne M (Bachalis) Blake for 31 years.

Mr. Blake spent his career in the automotive industry. He worked at Peter Fuller Cadillac-Olds in Boston. He was also the owner of numerous service stations in Marlborough and Hudson. Later he became a sales manager at Washington Street Motors and Dodge 62, both of Hudson. He most recently owned and operated Blake's Automotive and Plantasia Limousine, both of Hudson.

Besides his wife, he leaves his children, Jessica Blake and Jennifer Williams and her husband, Peter, all of Hudson, John Blake Jr. of Medford, and James M. Blake and wife, Lisa, of W. Roxbury; his sister, Gayle O'Callaghan and her husband, John, of Burlington; his four grandchildren, Alexandra, Sydney, Connor, and Kyle; and his extended family, which included many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.

Services were held at St. Michael's Church and Tighe Hamilton Funeral Home in Hudson. Burial was at St Michael's Cemetary in Hudson. Memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association, 20 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
