Evelyn MacDonald Obituary

Evelyn "Norma" (Kenward) MacDonald, 88, of 14 Lakeside Ave. died Sunday in the Meadows of Leicester. Her husband John J. MacDonald died in 1994.

She leaves two sons, John T. of OH and Richard K. of NH; two daughters, Marilyn R. Mosher of Brookfield and Sharlene G. Briggs of SC; three sisters, Doris Cook and Mary Griffith both of Spencer and Roberta LaPierre of Northboro; 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Edward F. MacDonald and a brother, Percy Kenwood Jr.

She was born in Spencer the daughter of Percy & Annie Mae (Fairbrother) Kenward and has lived her most of her life. Evelyn worked at Zayres Dept. Store in Worcester for 30 years until she retired in 1988. She was a member of both the Brookfield & East Brookfield Senior Citizens. She enjoyed many crafts including crocheting and most of all enjoyed spending time with her family.

The funeral for Evelyn will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2007 at 10:00 AM in Pillsbury Funeral Home, Rte.9/Old West Brookfield Rd., Brookfield. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM in the funeral home. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Assoc., PO Box 78960, Phoenix, AZ 85062-8960.
