Pauline Dwyer Obituary

Pauline D. (Loiselle) Dwyer, 77, of 24B Miles St., died on Monday, October 22, 2007, in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center, after an illness.

Her husband of 48 years, C. Robert "Bob" Dwyer, died in 1998. She leaves 3 children: Robert P. Dwyer and his wife, Kathleen H. (Rogers) Dwyer, of Milford, Kenneth R. Dwyer and his wife, Diane E. (Rondeau) Dwyer, of Webster, and Paula A. Dwyer-Isakson and her husband, Neil R. Isakson, of Worcester; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters: Marie A. Laplante, Lucille R. Lajoie and her husband, Roland D. Lajoie, and Felice T. Burns, all of Millbury; 3 brothers: Brother Donald G. Loiselle F.M.S. of Roselle, NJ, Richard H. Loiselle of Millbury, and Kenneth R. Loiselle of Grafton; an aunt, Ernestine Berthiaume, and an uncle, George H. Belanger, both of Worcester; nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a sister, Florence A. Loiselle, and a brother, Rev. Joseph G. Loiselle, both of Millbury.

A daughter of the late George J. and Agnes M. (Belanger) Loiselle, Pauline was born in Worcester on August 3, 1930, and moved to Millbury in 1951. She attended St. Anne Academy, Marlborough, and St. Stephen High School, Worcester. She was a faithful communicant of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish and a member of the parish St. Anne's Guild. She was also a member of the Millbury Women's Club. She volunteered as a librarian at Assumption School for several years and worked for many years as a volunteer in the greater Worcester area for the Muscular Dystrophy Assn., the American Heart Assn., and the American Cancer Society. She enjoyed cooking, collecting cookbooks, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her funeral will be Friday, October 26, from Turgeon Funeral Home, 56 Main St., with a Funeral Mass at 11 AM in Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 10 Waters St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Thursday, October 25, from 5 to 8 PM. Members of the St. Anne Guild will conduct a prayer service at 7 PM.

Contributions in her memory may be made either to the Central Massachusetts Agency on Aging, 360 West Boylston St., West Boylston, MA 01583, or to St. Stephen School, 355 Grafton St., Worcester, MA 01604, or to St. Louis Endowment Fund, 15 Lake St., Webster, MA 01570.
