Charlotte Gates Obituary

Charlotte P. (Wright) Gates, 84, died Sunday Oct. 21 in Overlook Masonic Health Center.

Her husband, James A. Gates, Jr. died in May. She leaves several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Robert, and sisters M. June and Martha.

Born in Worcester, daughter of Charles R. and Marion L. (Towns) Wright, she graduated from Commerce High School, and worked for almost 40 years at Norton Co. She was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m Saturday Oct. 27 in the Chapel of the Overlook Masonic Health Center, 88 Masonic Home Road. Private burial will be in Hope Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Masonic Home, Inc. Chapel and Recreation Dept., 88 Masonic Home Rd., Box #1000, Charlton, MA 01507-1000 or Covenant U.M. Church, 24 Hamilton St., Worcester, MA 01604. CASWELL-KING FUNERAL HOME, 474 Grove St., Worcester is directing arrangements.
