Helen Lendraitis Obituary

Helen B. (Krochalis) Lendraitis, 89, of 7 Woodland Dr., died Saturday, October 27, at The Meadows of Leicester. She was the wife of John A. Lendraitis, who died in 1992.

She leaves two brothers, Edward Krochalis and his wife Maureen of Locust Grove, Va., and Anthony Krochalis and his wife Eleanor of Alexandria, Va.; two nephews, Richard and Michael Krochalis and three nieces, Lisa Milligan, Kathy Thornhill and Megan Wagner; several great nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Lendraitis worked in the accounting department of Paul Revere Insurance Co. in Worcester for many years before retiring in 1983. She sold Avon Products for 40 years.

Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Anthony and Beatrice (Eidkuvich) Krochalis. She graduated from Commerce High and later Becker College both in Worcester.

She was a member of St.Pius X Church, the Senior Citizen Club of Leicester, Leicester Women's Club, Alpha Club at Paul Revere Insurance Co., Lithuanian Women's Club of Worcester, and Friends of the Elders.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, November 1 from the MORIN-MORRISON FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester with a "Liturgy of the Word" at 10 a.m. in St. Pius X Church, 1153 Main St., Leicester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 4 to 6 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to St. Pius X Church, 1153 Main St., Leicester 01524.
