Gertrude Traska Obituary

Gertrude F. (LaBonte) Traska died Saturday, October 27, 2007 in Mary Lane Hospital surrounded by her loving daughters. She was born in Putnam, CT the daughter of Henry & Albina (Cloutier) LaBonte and has been a lifelong resident of Warren. Gertrude was predeceased by her husband Paul S. Traska.

She leaves three daughters, Katherine Rozzen of West Warren, Florence Durand and Lorraine Koslowski both of Warren; 8 grandchildren & 9 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by a grandson Paul Rozzen.

Gertrude worked at Seven Sisters Co. in Ware for 28 years until she retired in 1993. She was a member of St. Pauls Church and the American Legion Ladies Auxillary Post 8606 in West Warren.

The funeral for Gertrude will be held on Wednesday, October 31, 2007 from Pillsbury Funeral Home, Rte. 9/Old West Brookfield Rd., Brookfield with a 10:00 A.M Mass in St. Paul's Church, 1060 Main St., Warren. Burial will follow in St. Paul's Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4:00-7:00 P.M in the funeral home. Donations may be made to Warren Community Youth Soccer, P.O Box 1181, Warren, MA 01083.
