I only knew Gayle for a short three years. She taught me much about Home health Nursing and we bonded immediately and found we had many things in common. She quickly became a best friend!
She was an excellent nurse and her patients adored her, and so did I. She will always have a place in my heart and I miss her already!
My thoughts and prayers are with her fiance Phil whom she loved dearly and her family!

I am so sad to hear of Gayle's passing. She was a wonderful person, a wonderful nurse and a wonderful friend. We worked together in the Umass ER for many years. She made my life better for having known her. I am quite sure there are many people who would say the same. She shared herself openly and was always there for a friend.
With sorrow and Sympathy,

My sympathies for all those Gayle left behind. She was a most wonderful nurse and mentor.

Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what’s to be a resting place
Along the road to sweet eternity. We all
Have different journeys, different paths along
The way, we all were meant to learn some things,
But never meant to stay … our destination is a
Place far greater than we know. For some,
The journey’s quicker, for some the journey’s
Slow. And when the journey finally ends,
We’ll claim a great reward and find an
Everlasting peace together
With the Lord.

Hoping she is enjoying her Heavenly flower shop...

Gayle was my preceptor at UMASS in1983 when I was a new graduate nurse. She taught me compassion and kindness help to heal as much as medicine. Gayle was one on the best nurses I have had the pleasure to work with. My deepest sympathies to her children and her family, I will keep her in my prayers
