Ronald Connors Obituary

Ronald J. Connors, 59, of Worcester died Tuesday, October 30th in his home. He was a devoted and loved father, husband and brother. He leaves his wife of 32 years, Diane M. (DeStratis) Connors; a son, Bryan F. and his wife Erin M. Connors of Framingham; a daughter, Tracey M. and her husband Aaron P. Hall of Bloomfield Hills, MI; 2 brothers, Richard and his wife Maureen Connors of Cherry Valley and Robert and his wife Carol Connors of Jacksonville, FL; and a sister, Maureen and her husband Richard Stuart of Cherry Valley.

He was born in Leicester, the son of Frederick W. and Mary A. (Devine) Connors and was a 1967 graduate of Leicester High School and a graduate of the Andover Institute of Business. Mr. Connors was a US Marine Corp. Veteran who received two purple hearts for his bravery and service in the Vietnam War. Mr. Connors was currently employed by Stafford Special Tools for the past 16 years as a machinist. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid baseball fan.

The funeral is Friday, November 2nd from O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Leicester. Calling hours are Thursday, November 1st from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home. The family requests that flowers be omitted.
