Caroline Simas Obituary

Caroline M. Simas, 89, formally of Brigham Circle in Hudson, died Sunday, November 4, 2007, at Marlborough Hills Healthcare Center in Marlborough. She was the wife of the late Amancio "Amos" Simas, who died in 1993.

She was born in Hudson, daughter of the late Antonio and Arsenia (Neves) Govea. She was employed by the Hudson Lock Co. in Hudson for many years as an assembler until her retirement. She was a member of the Hudson Senior Center in Hudson. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Sasseville of Northbridge, and Joanne LaPierre of Kingland, GA. She is also survived by her 2 sisters, Mary LeSage of Marlborough, and Teresa Love of San Antonio, TX; her brother, George Govea of Savannah, MO; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. (www.tighehamilton.com) 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Burial will be in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Cox Street, Hudson, MA. Calling hours will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6 at the funeral home.

To the family of Caroline I would

It was a pleasure to get to know her in these past few months and to help make these final days more
