Margaret Sthika Obituary

Margaret J. (Joseph) Sthika, 89, of Grafton died on Thursday, November 8 in Saint Vincent Hospital.

Her husband Mitchell J. Sthika Sr. died in 2002. She is survived by a son, Mitchell J. Sthika Jr. of Grafton; a daughter Ellen M. Burns of East Falmouth, MA; a brother, John Joseph of Plymouth, MA; a sister, Victoria Tromara of Foxboro, MA; 3 step grandchildren; 3 great-step-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. Margaret was born in Brockton, MA daughter of Christo and Alexandra (Christo) Joseph and graduated from the Williams Business School in Brockton. She is also predeceased by a sister, Tefta Boria of Sutton.

Mrs. Sthika worked for the Grafton Public Schools and enjoyed spending time with her family as well as cooking and gardening.

A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon on Tuesday, November 13 in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond St. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 10 to 12 Noon in the funeral home on Tuesday morning. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Saint Mary's Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church, 535 Salisbury St., Worcester, MA 01609.
