Cecile Greene Obituary

Cecile A. (Paquette) Greene, 83, of Warren, formerly of the Manchaug section of Sutton died Sat. Nov. 10 after an illness. Her husband Albert T. Greene died March 18, 2003. She is survived by 3 sons, John P. Greene of Warren, Robert W. Greene of Caribou ME, and Gerald F. Greene of Stuttgart Germany; 3 daughters, Beverly Morrissette of Whitinsville, Rose Alma Lachapelle and Susan Rock both of Warren; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Doris Guiou of Millbury and Theresa Lawrence of Northbridge; and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a son Raymond A. Greene and was sister of the late Leo Paquette, Wilfred Paquette, and Jeannette Moore. Born in Manchaug on Sept. 6, 1924, she was the daughter of John and Rose Alma (Merchant) Paquette and lived in Warren since 1978.

Mrs. Greene was a machine operator for Buck Brothers Co. in Millbury, retiring in 1986. She also worked for several area companies over the years. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo and was a former member of St. Anne's Church.

Her funeral will be held Sat. Nov. 17 from Jackman Funeral Home, 7 Mechanic St. Douglas with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Denis Church, 23 Manchaug Rd. Burial will follow in St. Denis Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home in Douglas are Fri. Nov. 16 from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Vincent Hospital, Cardiac Care Program, 123 Summer St. Worcester, MA 01608 or to the Warren Ambulance Fund Box 140 Warren MA 01083.

i am kellie her granddaughter,gram will be miss madley by not only me but lots of people she was the highlight of my and my childrens life she was a great grandmother she was always there to help others when they needed it and had no problem doing it. she was a great person..love and miss you gram
