I remember Mr.Collins from my days in the DKH housekeeping dept.I was struck by his deadpanned sense of humor and his highly cultured vocabulary. He was a very unique person, and one who was impossible to forget. Thus I visited with him many years later at his home on New Sweden Rd,and was cordially received.

I will certainly pass this information on to my parents, Martha and Manfred Erickson presently living in Illinois. Our sympathy and love go to the entire family. Martha and Sigfred grew up cousins, attended the same church and school and spent many Sunday afternoons visiting each other with their families. Please accept our deepest sympathies.

My heartfelt condolences go out to the Collins family. I worked with Sig at DKH in housekeeping. He was a fine man, and it was always a pleasure to work alongside him in the OR suite, or just sit and talk. My prayers are with you, and may your faith in God comfort you in this difficult time.
