Dear John, Just wanted you to remember a few times that you took your parents out to eat. Your dad joked, while your mom rolled her eyes and laughed. I always thought of them as Ralph Cramden and Alice (the Honeymooners), because they really were funny with each other. I also remember that he loved her home made spaghetti with meatball and sausage sauce. He said he could eat her spaghetti every day. (She said he did!) She spoiled him all their lives. You are a product of their humor, love of family, and tenacity. Remember to turn on a radio or TV and a light in every room so the house won't feel so empty when you go home at night. They loved your keeping them at home with you even though they were both in poor health. You were most fortunate to have them both for so long. Enjoy your upcoming trip south. You can rest a bit knowing that you won't need to drive back home in a hurry as you have in the past few years.

John,
I would like to express my sympathy
to you in the loss of your father. I spoke to my cousin Richard Celona
by telephone on Monday, and he told
me that your father had died. My deepest sympathy to you once again.
