Rosalie Gubb Obituary

Rosalie (Muchnikoff) Gubb, 78, of 1 Dubiel Drive, died at home after a long illness.

She leaves her husband of 42 years, Nathan Gubb; two daughters, Laurie wife of Howard Austrager of Framingham and Deborah wife of George Iliffe of London, England; a sister, Sylvia wife of Marvin Taub of Boca Raton, FL and four grandchildren.

She was born in Boston, a daughter of Mitchell and Florence Muchnikoff and had lived in Webster for 10 years before moving to Worcester 32 years ago.

She graduated from Swampscott High School and Salem State College. She received her master's degree in education from Boston University. She was a substitute teacher in the Worcester Elementary Schools for many years.

She was a member of Beth Israel Synagogue and was a life member of its Sisterhood, Worcester Chapter of Hadassah and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Jewish Healthcare Center.

Funeral services will be held at NOON on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 28TH in Perlman Funeral Home, 1026 Main St. Burial will be in B'Nai Brith Cemetery.

Memorial Observance will be held at her residence, 1 Dubiel Drive through 3 PM Friday Afternoon, Nov. 30th and 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM on Saturday Evening, December 1st.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 350 Plantation St., Worcester 01604 or to Beth Israel Synagogue on Jamesbury Drive, Worcester 01609.
