Eugene Giroux Obituary

Eugene M. Giroux, age 45, of 4 First Ave died Tues. Nov. 27, 2007 at UMass Memorial Hospital in Worcester. He leaves his parents Robert L. and Margaret P. (Boardway) Giroux of Dudley. He also leaves 2 brothers, James Giroux of Dudley and Robert L. Giroux Jr. of Clinton, 2 sisters, Julie Morris of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Natalie Modiatis of Jacksonville, FL.

Eugene was born in Springfield, MA. He was a graduate of Shrewsbury High class of 1979. He lived in Dudley for the past 4 years prior to that living in Worcester. He worked for Gen. Rapid in Bolton for 15 years as a precision Sheet Metal Worker. He was an avid camper and motorcycle enthusiast.

There are no calling hours. A Memorial Mass will be held Tue., Dec. 4, 2007 at 10 AM in St. George's Church, Brattle St., Worcester. The Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster, MA is directing arrangements.

I am a niece to Gene, and my mother and him were very close. Although I was not close to him it saddens me very much to see him go. My greatest apoligies go out to my family who are all hurting over his loss, rest in peace uncle gene.
