Jeffrey Mailman Obituary
He leaves his mother, Susan M. (Coghlin) Mailman of Worcester; his father, Bruce P. Mailman of Grafton; two brothers: Paul E. Mailman and his wife Rebecca of Dayville, CT., and Kevin Mailman and his wife, Carissa of Rutland; his paternal grandmother, Dorothy Rigby of Orlando, FL., and his maternal grandparents, Edwin B. Coghlin, Jr. and Maureen L. (Logan) Coghlin of Shrewsbury. He also leaves many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Jeff was a 2005 graduate of Burncoat High School where he was a member of the varsity track team, the chorus and was a cast member in the production of GREASE. He attended Anna Maria College and was elected president of his class in 2006. Jeff was very interested in broadcasting and recently began training in that field. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing, biking and hiking. Jeff was a good and kind person who was loved by his family and friends.
Calling hours in DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., are Sunday, December 2, 2007 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. The funeral will be held on Monday, December 3, 2007 with a Mass at 10:00 am in Christ the King Church, 1052 Pleasant St. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Courtney Butcher Memorial Scholarship Fund, in care of Doherty High School, 299 Highland St., Worcester, MA., 01602 or to the Michael G. Ratte Charitable Foundation, P.O. Box 599, West Side Station, Worcester, MA., 01602.

A memory of Jeff popped into my head today from St. Peter Central Catholic. I did not keep in contact with Jeff after SPCC, but I remember him as a kind boy who knew how to make people laugh and could make almost any situation fun spirited.

Mailman my hero me and you 1 and 2. Back in the day we were as close as can be. You were the big senior I was the puny freshman you took me under your wing and showed me the ropes. So many memories, so many laughs. Your laugh your smile that will be missed but your presence in our lives that will always exist. I miss you man I wish this wasn't true. The memories i have of jeff and with him are priceless. The only regret i have is not keeping in better touch with him after SPM. Jeff was a great friend to me in highschool he helped me threw a few rough patches. i remember while we were in greace we were messing around and i got hurt. jeff was there whenever i needed him and when it came down to the show and i couldnt dance he desided not to dance and hung out with me on the sidlines and danced along with me. jeff will always be in my heart. my heart goes out to the family. jeff was a great guy and will be sorly missed.
