Inez Newman Obituary

Inez G. (Hall) Newman, 92, formerly of 10 Chestnut St., passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2007 in Webster Manor.

Her husband, Frederick Newman died in 1988.

She leaves two daughters, Jeanne L. Jordan of Dudley and Isabelle Davis of Rockland, Maine; one sister, Arlene E. Giles of Dexter, Maine; 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews and a daughter-in-law, Linda Newman of Florida. She is predeceased by a son, Frederick L. Newman, and 3 brothers and six sisters.

She was born in Sangerville, Maine daughter of Eugene S. and Lottie R. (McKinney) Hall. Mrs. Newman worked at Cincinnati Milicron-Heald Corp. for 14 years and retired in 1976. Prior to that she was a domestic maid for many years.

There are no calling hours.

A graveside service will be Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Hope Cemetery in Worcester.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Milford Regional Medical Center, Cancer Unit, Development Office, 14 Prospect St., Milford, MA 01757.

The Robert J. Miller Funeral Home and Lake Chapel, 366 School St., Webster is assisting the family.

My sympathy to Jeanne and family for your loss. I will always remember the wonderful sense of humor that Inez had. She will be missed greatly, but UNDERNEATH ARE THE EVERLASTING ARMS, and she is resting in them.

Very sorry for your loss. Inez and my mom were good friends many years ago at Wesley church. My mom was Ruth Ingram.
