Ruth was a wonderful neighbor. She was the kind of person who would just show up with a plate of cookies. She would keep an eye out when we were gone without being asked. We will miss her.

Ruth and I have been friends for 63 years. We spent wonderful times at each other's house and in our teens we double dated. She was god mother to my daughter,Brenda. We spent so many times riding our bikes every place and one time, took them on the bus. When I think of Ruthie I have to laugh at all the great times we had. She was my maid of honor when married my husband, Walter, in 1953. I was in Alaska when she married Dick and was not able to be her matron of honor. I could go on and on but just have to say she was the most wonderful person I have ever known. I will miss her and all our phone calls.

Auntie Ruth was my godmother. She was the kindest most considerate person. She never forgot a birthday, Christmas, Easter and anniversaries, she loved everyone and always thought and cared for others. She was wonderful to my family and me. She will be missed deeply. May she rest in peace.

I first met Ruth while working for the DPH in Rutland, MA. Then we met again when I was working for the MDC (now DCR) in W. Boylston. I retired to Maine just 3 years ago this month. Ruth was at my retirement luncheon. She was a loving and beautiful person to know. Always caring and concerned. Never heard her say an unkind word to anyone. I will miss her!
