Raymond Berube Obituary

Raymond P. Berube, 56, of Westborough, MA, died on Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at the Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center.

Born in Fall River, MA, he was the son of the late Russell and Pauline (Carpentier) Berube. He was a graduate of Prevost High School in Fall River and a graduate of Southeastern Massachusetts University, Dartmouth.

During the Vietnam Era he served with the U. S. Air Force.

Mr. Berube was employed as a technician for National Grid prior to his retirement.

He was a member of the Watuppa Lodge AF & AM.

Raymond was a director of theater productions and a set designer at the Little Theater of Fall River, was a poet and author of a self published book titled "A Poetic Voice". He was an avid science fiction and horror movie fan and enjoyed books and reading.

He is survived by one son, Charles R. Berube of Providence, RI; one sister, Marion Byrne of Tiverton, RI. His former wife, Harriet Berube and his longtime friend, Brian Moriarty.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, December 8, from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at the Tatnuck Bookseller, 18 Lyman St., Westborough.

In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to First Book, 1319 F Street, NW, Suite 1000, Washington, DC 20004.
