Anne and Jim, I knew your mom from FUMC and with her guidance and support worked with her for two summers at the Special Needs camp. Those are wonderful memories for me. I was so sorry to learn of her passing. But as we all know, she has only gone Home and awaits us there. My Sister, Susan May and her Husband Craig were probably waiting for Mary at the gates to welcome her. Mary did a lot of wonder things for a lot of people. She will be well remembered. Again my sympathy to Mary's family.

It's been so long, but seems like yesterday. Mark and Anne had left for their honeymoon and I stayed with Mary for a week. I will always remember Mary taking me on a trip through Connecticut and Rhode Island. We stopped to eat at the coast and it was the first time I ever had lobster. We then drove around and stopped at really old cemetaries. I loved it and have always cherished that memory. As like memories past, Mary will never be forgotten, she will remain in our hearts and minds to relive all the great times we've all shared with her.

Mary was a wonderful person and mother-in-law and is really missed. She lead a very active life. She was known throughout Mystic, Stonington and New England as a very giving, caring and generous friend. Please visit our memorial web site for Mary: http://amajn.com/Mary/MaryC.htm. She always welcomed me into her home while I was dating her daughter, Anne, who I married in June 1972. Anne and I miss her very much and know she is now singing in heaven to her heart's content.

Genesis 3:20 "And Adam called his wife's name Eve, because she was the mother of all the living." The word mother is found in the opening chapters of the very first book of the Bible. God gave Eve the miracle of motherhood through her the world has been blessed with mothers who have made humanity proud. God bless you, Mary Cleary, your work here on earth will never be forgotten. With deepest sympathy, Ricky and Savanah Geer

I feel as though I have known Mrs. Cleary all my life, from my youth when she worked at Noyes Dry Goods to my career that would bring us together through Mystic Methodist Church. I will always remember her smile and gentle ways. She is a special person and I feel fortunate to have crossed paths with her in this lifetime. God bless you all who feel her absence, may your memories sustain you and bring you peace.
