She was born on July 20, 1922, the daughter of Ray and Marjorie Gould. Raised in Stonington, she was a 1940 graduate of Stonington High School.
She is survived by her children, Woodrow Klewin Jr., Florence Klewin, Linda Lee, Joy Klewin, Barbara Jean Dunbar, Dawn Morel, Alan "Butch" Whitford, and Kim Jones; her brother, George Gould; 21 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren, and a great-great grandchild.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Alan, Walter, and John Gould, and Idella Klewin.
Her family will greet relatives and friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday at The Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl St., Historic downtown Mystic. A Service will be held at the Old Mystic Baptist Church at 10 a.m. on Saturday with burial following at Old Plains Cemetery, N. Stonington.
