Julie and my cousins - On learning of his passing we are depressed, sorrowfully we sigh, weep, and will always remember his love. Loving and kind was his nature, and mild his conversations that never showed bitter anger. We shared a special closeness, and even when the years passed, we could pick up the conversation as if there had been no time or space in between. He was strong in patience, tolerated everyone, was generous, compassionate and a wonderful uncle and spiritual advisor. Strong, good, and powerful, he has taken the next step in his spiritual journey. We had talked about going to India this year as his condition improved, and I was looking forward to spending the time together to sort out the mysteries of the universe. On my next trip I will take along his picture, and carry on those conversations about life and death and God and the hereafter. And somehow I feel that he will respond in spirit as we are all connected, the microcosm part of the macrocosm. May the Divine Light surround him on his journey and bless all those left behind. We pray that you find God's strength and fortitude within yourselves, and that you will help and support each other with your hearts and faith intact. With loving thoughts. Niece Susan (Detroit, MI).

Julie and children - my thoughts and prayers are with you. I am so saddened by the news of Ken's passing. He & I had lost touch for a few years - reconnecting in January of this year. It was such a joy to communicate with him again! Ken has been a major force in my professional life. He was my advisor, the chair of my doctoral committee, my colleague, my friend. I consider myself blessed by his presence in my life. I miss knowing that he is no longer with us in this life. I pray that he is at peace and in a beautiful place reflective of his talent and kindness.

Please accept my deepest sympathies. I felt a great loss when I heard of Uncle Kenny's passing. We were only four years apart in age. I will always remember the time we spent together as kids. I used to get hand-me-downs from Uncle Ken. He taught me what "say uncle" meant, with my arm twisted behind my back! He was always my favorite uncle. I will miss him.

I am very sorry for your loss. I feel sad that after having read all the wonderful accomplishments and the beautiful reflections of Dr. Paprock's person that our paths never crossed. I do know Matt Paprock as a co-worker at the Madison, WI VA Hospital.
My husband recently lost his mother, my sweet mother-in-law, to pancreatic cancer and there are no words to truly express the depths of despair one feels when loosing a loved one.
May God bless and comfort the entire family and all of Dr. Paprock's friends and associates.

I am saddened to hear of Dr. Paprock's passing. I came to work at TAMU in 1987 and worked in, then, the IDED department. Dr. Paprock was so sweet, caring, not easily ruffled at all; just an all around nice guy. I loved visiting with him. He really listened and genuinely cared about what you had to say. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
