Marian Lasher Lueder

MARIAN LASHER LUEDER
FORMERLY OF JACKSONVILLE - Marian Lasher Lueder, 96, left this world on April 22, 2008 to join her husband, Francis A. Lueder, Jr.; son, David A. Lueder; and grandson, Daniel E. Lueder. Born in Wolcott, New York on July 10, 1911, she graduated from Leavenworth High School and attended Cornell for two years before marrying Francis on July 4, 1931. At Cornell she was a proud member of Phi Kappa Phi sorority. Marian Lueder was a homemaker and partner on the family farm from 1938 until 2004. She then moved to Charlotte and resided at Sunrise on Providence and most recently Sardis Oaks Nursing Home.
Mrs. Lueder is survived by her son, Donald C. Lueder, Sr. and his wife, Janice L. Pasternak of Charlotte, NC; three living grandchildren, Donald C. Lueder, Jr. and wife, Julie, Fayetteville, GA, Douglas A. Lueder and wife, Samantha, Atlanta, and Judith A. Lueder, Decatur. She was also blessed with seven great-grandchildren: Phalichia Lueder and Cameron Lueder, children of Donald, Jr. and Effie Lueder, Trumansburg, NY; Kasey Hapke and Konnor Hapke, children of Julie Lueder; Feti Kesceti, son of Judith Anne; and Harrison (Harry) Lueder and Layla Lueder, children of Douglas and Samantha Lueder. She is also survived by two nieces, Mary Louise Komarek of Clarkdale, AZ and Anne Mihalisin of Westport, WA.
Graveside Services at the Grove Cemetery in Trumansburg, New York will be held this summer followed by a celebration of life at a site to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either to the Ulysses Philomathic Library in Trumansburg, New York or Jacksonville Community Church in Jacksonville, New York. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff and caregivers at Sunrise on Providence and Sardis Oaks for all their caring and support.
