Dear Severin and family..
I dont know if you remember me but I remember you, your dear father,
and your mother. I worked at the Hebrew Home in Riverdale and saw your Dad almost daily when he vivited your mother..I remember him
always looking dapper, always a gentlemen with a kind word and always concerned for his wife..
I was saddened to read of your loss in today's NY Times and then
read with great interest about the
rich lives of your parents in this journal. My sympathies on your loss to you and your family..
with fondness, Sharon Balinsky

Dear Severin--
Your father was a special person and considered family at our holiday gatherings. He has been missed since he moved to Ithica. He was a wonderful man and so very giving. Take comfort in knowing how much he was loved by so many.
All the best

Dear Severin and family,
I was so sorry to hear of your father's passing. I apologize for not knowing sooner...I guess by not being at IHS this semester, I missed the news. My thoughts are with you all as you navigate this time. I know how hard it is to lose your father, but with the love and support of each other, you'll get through it. May you each find a way of honoring your beloved father that feels right to you, and as one good friend said to me, may your tears rain down so that you may dance in the puddle. Much love,

I was priviledged to meet Dr. Drix at Oak Hill Manor a few years ago, while my "adopted grandmother" was also in residence there. I so enjoyed his sense of humor. He also had a marvelous hat! I'm priviledged to have met such a wonderful man. My thoughts are with you as you continue your lives without him.
