Nancy and Family- I am so sorry to hear about your loss, riding through the vineyards with the horses and wagons meant so much to me and my sister when we were younger. playing with the sheep and spending time with uncle budd in the barn were some of my favorite child hood memories. He will be missed by several people and loved and in our hearts always. Love you aunt nancy!

We always enjoyed seeing Budd's farm with the sheep, horses, etc. He was always happy to talk about them any time. And I remember the chicken house quite well. Even though I went to school with Sally, Steve and Jeff he didn't consider any generation gap. I am glad I had a chance to talk with him just a week ago at WalMart.

It was a very beautiful day 3 years ago when Budd finally got to meet his grandsons Michael and Matthew, as well as an amazing, surreal day for me. Grandpa Budd was very sweet and kind to the boys, and they will always remember visiting and chatting with him in the barnyard, and being allowed to pet the donkey and cluck at the chickens. It lifts unspeakable sorrow from my heart to read all of the touching entries about what a kind man my father was. I pray that he is in a beatuiful place now, and that Michael and Matthew will be able to spend time with him in Heaven someday far in the future.
With Love Always,

I will always rememeber "be aware but not afraid, be kind but always remain in charge, be loving but never overdo. These words ring in my ears as I think of Budd and thank him for all he gave with his words of human and horse wisdom.
Budd thank you good friend and all those you helped in your journey.

It's sad to think I will not see my friend again. Talking with Budd always made the world seem like a better place. Distance robbed me of more time spent with him, but I can look back and remember his warm and gentle spirit.

Shine kindly here,
Warm southern wind,
