Dear Jeff,
So sorry to here of your fathers passing. Your father was a great person, he helped me out of a lot of situations financially over the years. My father( Jim Jessmore )worked for years for your dad, until my dads retirement and closing the store in the early 1990's.I can remember the days that i worked as a fill in driver/delivery man with my dad at Arnolds Furniture, then of course came the day that i was 1st sent out alone with the truck to go to ithaca to deliver your dad told me " this is your first time alone in the truck, drive slow and be careful i don't pay for speeding tickets".This was great advice,as i never in all the years i helped my dad or helped your dad ever had a ticket for anything.Your dad always made me feel glad to help him when he needed me too. I can remember your dad as having words of encouragement all the time for myself and others ,when it was needed most.Again my sympathy to you and your family.

Dear Jeff,
Thank you for taking the time to get a hold of me to let me know about your fathers passing. He was an awesome man and always treated me with respect. I enjoyed working for him for 10 tens. If he wasn't closing the store at the end of that year I would probably still be there. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Lisa and family,
Just now hearing of the loss of your father and it saddens me deeply. I have some fond memories of visiting your home when we were younger. Your dad always made me feel like part of the family. He will really be missed. Remember that as long as you keep him in your heart he's never truly gone. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.
Love,
Margaret Wood

Dear Jeff
So sorry for your loss. So thoughtful of you put it in the Ithaca Journal even though he hasn't been in the area for years. A lot of people have already called me. We all have lots of good and fun memories of him, especially you, Remo and myself. He sure did teach me a lot and I didn't even know it at the time. What a great man he was. Hang in there and my love to you and Emily. Hope the videos we made of Arnold's Furniture here in Ithaca turn out for you. Lots of memories there!

My thoughts are with all of you at this difficult time. Arnold was a great husband, father and stepfather. He also was a wonderful friend to both of my parents.
May you always cherish the many memories you have of him and find comfort in them.
