Nancy Trewin Obituary
ITHACA - Nancy Trewin, 59, of 959 Dryden Road, Ithaca, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2008, at the Cayuga Medical Center.
Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. at Bangs Funeral Home with Rev. Jacquie Lewis officiating. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Nancy's memory may be made to either, Guiding Eyes for the Blind, 611 Granite Springs Road, Yorktown Hgts, NY 10598 or Tompkins Learning Partners Inc., 124 W. Buffalo Street, Ithaca, NY 14850

Nancy was a generous woman who did a lot of work raising guide dogs, and happily donated to the Brooktondale Community Center and the Caroline Food Pantry. She not only donated items, one year she raised tomato and other plants for the food pantry garden, even though she could barely walk.

Nancy was are very loveing person.Her love for dogs and people were amazing.I new Nancy from Beechtree Care Center where I work as a cna /housekeeper.I will never forget her,She is at peace now.She fought for a very long time.I sure will miss her.
