I was so sorry to hear of the loss to your family. Roger was a very good and kind man. I met your father 30+ years ago at Bowen's Restaurant on Rt 38 where I served him, your Uncle Henry and Grandpa many cups of coffee. We became very good friends. I've thought of him often and remember him showing me the plot of land where he planned to build his log home. I'm so glad he made that dream come true. Sounds like he has a very nice and loving family. I know that was important to him. I'm sure his values and kindness will live on in each of his children as he watches over all of you.

My Deepest Sympathy,

Jane Spencer (Butler)

To the children and grandchildren of Roger I offer my sincere condolences at the loss of your tremendously loved father and grandfather. Spending just a couple hours with you yesterday gave me just a glimpse of how much you loved Roger. Your memories of him that you shared with such love will be what carries you through this very difficult time. And I certainly can see why he cherished his prized physical possession of the log home he built for his cherished family. Roger will never be far from any of you...he will be looking out for you. Donavin...your special angel will always live in your heart. Don't be afraid to talk to him. The secret to getting to heaven is by loving people and being good to everyone and helping people. Then when you get sick and it is time to go, you pray for the angels to come to meet you so you find your way. And in heaven, you are not sick anymore! Janella, I will always be here for you. God never closes one door before he opens another. After meeting all of you, I see what a tribute your father's life offerred! My prayers with all of you! Mary Mancini
