To Denise and Duane,
I would very much like to thank you both for accepting Joan into your family. Your father has been so great to Joan's family. Everyone loves Art.
We all enjoyed meeting Denise and having a few hours to get to know you.

Joanne was the big sister I never had. We were cousins but were younger than our other first cousins so remained very close though out our lives. I tried calling Joan the night before she died and she would answer the phone but could not hear me talking. I am very sad that I missed talking to her one last time. Joan will forever be in my thoughts and prayers. My love goes out to Art and Patti, Deb, Steve and Lisa. I am so glad Donna and I were able to get down for the funeral service.

Saturday past, the Wilkinson family had a reunion and passed around a get well card for Joanie. Our hopes were Joanie would be well enough to make the trip home to Ithaca w/ her husband and join us at this get together. Sunday morning we received the shocking news Joanie had passed on. The entire Wilkinson family is saddened at the
loss of our cousin Joanie. Our love and prayers are with you Art, and the kids, in this time of grief.
