Jennifer and Jason,

My heart goes out to you in empathy. I do not know what it is like to lose a husband at a "young" age, but my mother does. But, I do know what it is like to lose a father so suddenly. My only prayer is that Father God wraps his loving arms around the both of you and gives you the strength to heal and do what you need to do to live your lives without a husband and father. God is good and if you let Him, He will carry you through this. Not only will He carry you, but He understands your pain and hurts with you. That is the healing kind of love.

I am a very old friend of Jacks. I grew up with him in Groton. I haven't seen him in many years, although when I did run into him he had that wonderful smile that told you he was happy to see you. Many fond memoires of hanging out in the grocery store parking lot with all of his friends. He taught me how to dirve stick shift. He was so patient. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time!

Jennifer and Jason, Words just can't express the lose the world now faces without Jacks smile in it. Knowing him for the last 30 years I have never seen him without that smile from ear to ear. No matter where I saw him, he had that unmistakeable smile and glimmer in his eyes. Our entire family ( the Parkers and the Smiths) thought the world of him, and both of you. I was honored to spend this past 4th of July with you all at the lake and will treasure that memory forever. Jack was truley one of the best people I have ever met! He is so dearly missed already. To Jack's Family,
I worked with Jack many years ago when we were in the same department at Tompkins County. The one thing that always stood out about Jack was his deep devotion and love for his wife Jennifer, and son Jason. Whenever he had the opportunity, his face would just beam with pride when he talked about Jason. I am so sorry for your loss.
