Angela DiRusso Obituary

ANGELA ADDESSI DiRUSSO
ITHACA - Angela Addessi DiRusso, 91, or Tareyton Drive, died peacefully on Friday, October 3, 2008, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Fondi, Italy, daughter of the late Rafalle and Catarina Rotunno Addessi and was the widow of Louis DiRusso, Jr. who died on July 23, 2002.
Angela is survived by her son, Tony DiRusso of India; her daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Jim Niefer of Ithaca; her grandchildren, David (Ellen) Niefer of Binghamton, Mark Niefer of Washington, DC, and Kimberly Niefer of Ithaca; her great-grandchildren, Eden Julia Niefer, James Niefer, and Margo Niefer; and nieces and nephews living in Rome and Fondi. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by her brothers, Giovanni and Guido Addessi; and her sister, Domenica Nardoni.
Following the celebration of her Funeral Mass at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Angela was laid to rest with her husband, Louis, at the Queen of Peace Mausoleum.

Dear Ann and Jim,
Bob and I are saddened to learn of the death of your mother. We did not know her, but had a special relationship with your dad. God Bless her now that she is with him. We know you miss them both.
