We are thankful for the times of getting to know this fine man, especially as you stopped by on your way to and from Florida yearly. Wilbur was such an encouraging, kind and caring man, full of patience. We are thankful he was part of our lives for a time.
May God bless you as you reflect upon his wonderful qualities and your fun and fine memories. With much love for you.

Thank you days we spent on Lake Wilbur, fishing and skipping stones and playing around the waterfall. We will miss you.

I remember Wilbur talking with my
dad about their days playing base-
ball against each other. Their
versions of what happened, did not
quite coincide. He was a very funny
man.

I'm sad to hear of your loss. My thoughts are with you at this time of sorrow.
As a tradesman (carpenter) I had the pleasure of working with "Slim" on many construction jobs. I will tell you that he was very well thought of not only by his foremen / superintendents, but also by the many tradesmen that "Slim" was responsible for, by supplying them with the necessary on the job related materials. "Slim" was always concerned about safety on the job site as well. Wilbur "Slim" Woodard will always be remembered by me for his caring of his family and his work ethics. Thank you "Slim".
