I will always have very fond memories of you Aunt Helen. We always played Chinese Checkers together when I was young. You & Uncle Pete took me to Indiana when I was 11. You always made me feel special & much loved. I will miss you. You are etched in my heart forever.
love Laurie (Brown)

The passing of my 'Aunt Helen' is the end of an era. She was the last of the brothers & sisters of 'Elizabeth Brown' - who was the person family gathered around for guidence - love & support. The wise Elder. Now all Elizabeth's children are gone. My life was shaped by them all in many ways - I feel fortunate that I was able to visit Aunt Helen on 10-17-08 with my brother 'Ray' - on the eve of the third year passing of our Mother & Aunt Helen's sister - 'Emma'.
We spoke of loving memories {while I was growing up} near the Ithaca Falls where she lived - Her making me a peanut butter cake & frosting often as a child....She had a loving smile & always remembered the pleasure it brought...A kind soul & a good woman...I'll remember her always as an important part of my life & of those lives she touched. My thoughts are with her son Pete & wife - daughter & grand-daughter....as well as those family members that I have lost touch with.
I'll always remember her love & cherish our last visit - our stories & loving smile....God Bless You.

Peter I am sorry to hear of your mom passing and my sad condolances. I remember your mom from Fall Creek, I used to hunt with your brother Bill many years ago. He got me into archery way back then. I guess all the old Fall Creekers are gone to a better place now. Enjoy life it is all too short.
