Not sure what to say?

My deepest thoughts and prayers go out to Eddies family and friends. I just heard last night of his tragic death. I am soo sorry. I know that God is proud to have him with him now in heaven. Eddie was a wonderful man who always had a smile and a kind word of rememberance everytime I saw him Downtown. I believe he went to school with an aunt of mine. And his mom worked with my mother at Oak Hill Manor. He will be deeply missed. I'm sure his memory will live on, especially downtown. He set a good example of being kind and remembering those he knew, never afraid or in too much of a hurry to say Hello. God Bless You Eddie, may peace be with your family. With Love,

Susan Gruff

Aunt Laurel,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and the many, many people in Ithaca who clearly adored Ed! He seemed something of a celebrity there, knowing someone around every turn. An honorary Mayor of sorts! As for me and my daughter,we am mourning a dear uncle who we will miss dearly. The world is mourning a kind man who always had a smile in greeting and would help others in any way he could. BIG HUG to you Laurel!
Love Lisa
