Robert Forshee Obituary

ROBERT E. FORSHEE
GROTON - Robert E. Forshee, 87, of 796 Elm Street, Groton, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2007, at the Cortland Regional Medical Center.
Robert was born August 5, 1920, in Groton, a son of the late Ernest and Blanche (Hillsinger) Forshee. A lifelong Groton resident, Robert was a self-employed farmer and was a member of the Groton Community Church.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Geraldine (Crissy) Forshee; his three children, Lawrence E. (Ruth) of Groton, Vivian M. Lamonico of Cortland, and David R. (Janet) of Groton; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother and sister-in-law, Gordon and Alma (Hall) Forshee.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 31, at the Shurtleff Funeral Home, 103 Lincoln Ave., Groton, with the Rev. Wayne Gustafson officiating. Private interment will be in Virgil Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
Contributions may be made to the Groton Community Church, U.C.C., 204 E. Cortland St., Groton, NY 13073.
