Charles Meeker Obituary
LITTLE EGG HARBOR TWP., NJ - Charles A. Meeker, 69, of Little Egg Harbor Twp., NJ, passed away, Monday, October 29, at home. Born in Ithaca, New York, he resided in Pearl River, NY, before moving to Little Egg Harbor Twp. in 2003. He was a former Truck Driver for Arkansas Best Freight, Elmsford, NY, and was employed by Atlantis Country Club.
Charles was predeceased by his father, William; and sister, Carol Wilkins. He is survived by his wife, Isabell; daughters, Carol Ann Martin of Monroe, NY, and Janet Brody of Tinton Falls, NJ; mother, Elsie Meeker of Rome, NY; sister, Alta DeLong of Remsen, NY; brothers, William of Hardy, VA, and Ernest of Remsen, NY; three grandchildren, Ellen and Stacy Brody, and Lauren Martin; several nieces and nephews, and many cousins and friends.
The family will be present to receive friends Saturday, November 3, from 10-11 a.m. at Ness-Sibley Funeral Home, 23 South St., Trumansburg, NY. A graveside service will follow at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 3, at Grove Cemetery, Trumansburg, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to Atlanta Care Hospice, 1406 Doughty Rd., Pleasantville, NJ 08234.
