"Unk" will be greatly missed by so many of us. I am Gil's sister in-law. Unk was at EVERY family function we had. He loved watching the kids play and always loved the FOOD we had. He would hold my hand when I would stand by him. He NEVER, EVER complained about anything!! He was a HUGE Yankees fan. Gil and Michelle got him to a game last year-THAT was so awesome! (Like a kid in a candy store) He always made me realize that "BEING" was a blissful thing!! My thoughts are with you all. Love, Carol

It is with saddness I write to all of you. Unkie was a special person and this all brings me back to the many nice times when our families were young. When all of our kids were little, it was unkie who kept them occupied playing cars on the floor and being the most dependable babysitter.
My thoughts are with you all.

Since I learned of Unke's passing, I find myself thinking of you and your family and how much we will all miss him. I am comforted because I am one of the lucky ones whose life was touched by him. I join you and the many others who will miss him, but I remain grateful still for having known him.
