Richard Oliver Obituary

RICHARD W. OLIVER
CHENANGO FORKS - Richard William Oliver, age 61, of Chenango Forks and formerly of Ithaca, died Monday morning, November 26, 2007, at his residence. Mr. Oliver was born November 13, 1946, a son of the late Robert S. and Nettie G. Marshall Oliver. Richard enjoyed watching NASCAR and baseball, especially when the New York Yankees were playing. He also was an avid reader.
Survivors include his son, Richard Tyler Oliver; two sisters, Agnes (Stanley) House and Connie (Claude) Drake; six brothers, Robert (Callie) Oliver, Harold (Sandy) Oliver, James (Joanne) Oliver, Stanley (Bunny) Oliver, Frank (Rose) Oliver, and the late Charles Oliver; his former wife and caregiver, Sandra (Robert) Rice; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins and an uncle.
Friends and family may call Thursday, November 29, 2007, from 9:30 until 10:15 a.m. at the Herson Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
