Gary Golway Obituary

GARY M. GOLWAY
PORT RICHEY, FL - Gary M. Golway, 63, of Port Richey, FL, passed away at home November 23, 2007 with his family at his side. Gary fought a courageous battle with leukemia.
He was predeceased by his parents, Mary and Louis Golway. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Frances Golway; his son, Jamie Walsh; his daughter and son-in-law, Marcie and Chuck Fesler; and his grandchildren, Cameron and Cali Fesler, all of Port Richey, FL. He is also survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Colleen and Alan Solomon and Susan and John Shea; mother-in-law, Frances Noto; aunt, Ann Jordan; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Gary was a longtime Ithaca resident and a graduate of Ithaca High School, Class of 1962. He served in the United States Navy and was a member and former business agent of Laborers Local 589.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, December 7, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church with the Rev. Leo Reinhardt officiating. Interment will be private at Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Bangs Funeral Home.

Fran - I am so sorry for your loss. Gary will be missed greatly. His expertly crafted sense of humor always brightened the warehouse/office. It's very sad to think there will be no more dentist appts. to bring him back to us.
