I saw "The Trial of the Saint Patrick's Four" last night at Cinemapolis, on St. Patrick's Day, the day his obituary was published in the Ithaca Journal. Hearing Peter's voice --articulate, precise, clear and direct in his meaning, unwavering in his commitment-- was a wonderful testament and remembrance, and an inspiration. May Peter's spirit continue to live on, to be with us always.

It was an honor, a privilege and a great blessing to have counted Peter as my friend. Simply put, he was a saint; there is no greater accolade that I can give. I am sure that his intercessions to God, Whom he loved and served so well, are sustaining us in this terrible grief. We will always love him. May that love propel us into action with the same commitment and courage that Peter showed.

I am so grateful for the ways that Peter witnessed the ways of love, how he spoke truth to power. He is remembered with deep appreciation and a re-commitment to follow the leadings of Christ light and truth. I send care and prayer for his sweet circle of family and friends.
