Bruce Turner Obituary

Jeffrey Bruce Turner, 67, of Dunmore, died Oct. 7, 2023, in Jerome. Born March 13, 1956, in Decatur, Illinois, the son of George E. Turner and Katherine (Inman) Parker, he was preceded in death by parents; brother-in-law, Dr. Robert Smith and sister-in-law, Diana Turner.

Survived by his wife of four years, the former Victoria Smith; and children, Richard and wife, Cassie Turner; David and wife, Shawna Turner; Daniel and wife, Ashley Turner; and stepchildren, Nicole and husband, Bob Kephart; Nathan and wife, Rachel Gironda; and Sadie Lightner. Bruce is also survived by numerous grandchildren and stepgrandchildren. He was the brother of Jack and wife, Dorothy Turner, Jerry Turner, Cathy Smith; and Craig and wife, Lorie Parker.

He was a member of The Grove Church in Scranton, Pa. He was a retired United States Air Force veteran. Bruce was employed by many propane companies and most recently Keystone Propane in Throop, Pa. He loved to go fishing and being with his wife Vicki, who helped him fight cancer and be a survivor for six years.

Family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until time of Celebration of Life Service at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at The Grove Church at 1145 Providence St., Scranton, Pa.
