Ann Fisne Paolucci, Clarks Summit, died on Sunday at Allied in Scranton. She was the widow of Albert Paolucci Sr., who died on Aug. 9, 2003.
Ann was born in Scranton, daughter of the late Joseph and Valeria Ollendike Fisne. She was a lifetime member of Our Lady of the Snows Church and a member of the Women's Guild. Ann was also a member of the VFW Post 7069 Ladies Auxiliary and the Abington Senior Center. She was a ceramic instructor who owned her own ceramic studio as well as teaching arts and crafts. She was a graduate of the Newton-Ransom High School, where she was a member of the girls' varsity basketball team. She played the piano during her school years and played concerts throughout Pennsylvania. Ann was a foster parent to many children.
Ann and her husband spent their winters in Florida and Arizona and also enjoyed camping with their family throughout the years. Prior to her retirement she worked at Sandvik Steel in Wavery, RCA as a switchboard operator and a security guard, and Eureka Printing as a quality control inspector.
Surviving are a son, Michael and his wife, Kathy, Newton Twp.; a daughter, Lisa Paolucci-McGuire and her husband, Paul, Newton Twp.; nine grandchildren, Albert, Lutitia, Jennifer, Angelique, Megan, Melinda, Kristina, John and Matthew; 23 great-grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; a brother, Francis Fisne, of Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Albert Paolucci Jr.; five brothers, Joseph Jr., John, Leo, Nicholas and George Fisne; and four sisters, Mary Fisne, Gertrude Colarossi, Catherine Falcone and Margaret Taccki.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Snows Church, 301 S. State St., Clarks Summit. Interment will follow in Abington Hills Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Lady of the Snows Church.
