Francis Hoffman Obituary

Francis Leroy Hoffman, Jr., 71 of Fayetteville, N.C., passed away Friday, Oct. 3, 2008, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Mr. Hoffman was a United States Army Veteran with nine years' service, during which time he served in the Special Forces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis Leroy Hoffman Sr. and Marion Kenyon Hoffman, and by his brother, Lonnie J. Hoffman.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Hoffman of the home; children, Melody Godfrey of Cheyenne, Wyo., Jeffrey Hoffman of Lillington, N.C., Kimberly Thrine of Fayetteville, Kristen Roberts of Westerly, R.I., Tina Cayer of Horsecave, Ky., and Amy Hoffman of Sumter, S.C.; 17 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Robin Beaudreau of Charlotte, N.C., and Judith Kondraki of Orlando, Fla.
The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, at Rogers & Breece Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Pastor Wayne Schlenk.
Interment with military honors will follow at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake.
