My sincerest thoughts to the Savin family and George’s extended family; George was a proud and confident person, proud of his family and his community and the accomplishments of those around him. George fondly remembered his service to our nation and was encouraging to others who served. His passing leaves a definitive gap in the ranks of the members of America’s Greatest Generation.

Scott,Paula and entire family I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr.Savin and I say that because he would always tell me to call him George. He was a great man and I'll never forget him or Irene the nicest people you would ever want to know, and like I was saying when another of our friends father passed Mr. Nolan we can only strive to be the all around great person that they were, and knowing George for many years growing up that will be very very hard to match With much love and sympathy Whip.
